Swelling Solutions offers treatment for chronic swelling/lymphedema and post-surgical MLD (manual lymphatic drainage).
New Treatment modality offered by Catharine Burt: Scar release therapy with the Dolphin Neurostim MPS device(s) to soften and release scars, realign fascia and promote efficient blood and lymph circulation. MPS can be part of your lymphedema treatment or your recovery after surgery. If you would like to add MPS therapy to your treatment, please book a longer session than you normally would ( 60-75 minutes). Registered Massage Therapy/MLD/CDT
Registered Massage Therapists (RMT's) assess the soft tissues and joints of the body. They strive to treat and prevent physical dysfunction and pain of their client's soft tissue and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function and relieve pain. RMT's certified in decongestive therapy (CDT or CLT) assess and treat both new and long standing conditions of swelling to decrease discomfort, increase mobility and prevent complications of swelling. RMT's certified in MLD assess and treat a variety of conditions for those with healthy lymphatic systems.
