Your first appointment with us will mostly be of a discovery nature going over your health. history, providing education and performing assessments. This is necessary to formulate a treatment plan with you that supports your needs safely. There may be a small amount of time for treatment. Subsequent treatment bookings will have shorter assessment time and more time for treatment.

NEW FIRST TIME BOOKING INFORMATION: When booking for the first time, it is clinic policy that you enter your credit card information. At the end of your appointment you have the choice to use this card. We also accept cash, debit or e-transfer. If you do not show up for your appointment it leaves a whole in the therapist’s schedule that someone else could have used. Your credit card information will only be used if you do not notify the office to cancel your appointment and do not show up for your assigned appointment time. You will be assessed a No Show Fee of 50% of the original appointment fee. By booking the appointment and entering your credit card information, you agree to this clinic policy. If, after booking your appointment online for the first time, you do not get a confirmation email. Please check that you have entered your email correctly.

Registered Massage Therapists (RMT's) assess the soft tissues and joints of the body. They strive to treat and prevent physical dysfunction and pain of their client's soft tissue and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function and relieve pain. RMT's certified in decongestive therapy (CDT or CLT) assess and treat both new and long standing conditions of swelling to decrease discomfort, increase mobility and prevent complications of swelling. RMT's certified in MLD assess and treat a variety of conditions for those with healthy lymphatic systems.


ADP (Assistive Devices Program) Authorizer

The Assistive Devices Program of Ontario helps individuals with a diagnosis of lymphedema by contributing to the cost of maintenance garments. Swelling Solutions authorizers are available to help complete the process of applying to the program for the first time and subsequent two-year renewals.
